Fathers and community
Our Story

Built by dads.
For dads.

DadFrat Foundation grew out of a movement built to celebrate modern fatherhood, encourage stronger families, and build real community among dads.

How It Started

Welcome to the fraternity of dads.

DadFrat was founded by Seth Movsovitz, a father of four from Jacksonville. The idea began from a phrase he often shared with new fathers: "Welcome to the fraternity of dads." That simple expression evolved into the DadFrat identity — a symbol of pride, support, and connection among fathers.

The original DadFrat brand launched publicly in 2021 as a lifestyle and apparel company focused on celebrating fatherhood. Its mission centered on honoring the role dads play in caring for, guiding, and loving their children — promoting positive fatherhood through clothing, community, and messaging designed specifically for proud dads.

As the DadFrat community expanded, the mission grew beyond apparel into advocacy and support. This led to the creation of the DadFrat Foundation — a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing mind health resources and support for dads in need.

The Foundation

From a movement to a mission.

The DadFrat Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing mind health resources and support for dads in need. The foundation emphasizes that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness, and works to create awareness around fathers' mental and emotional well-being.

Today, the DadFrat Foundation continues to expand through community events, volunteer opportunities, social media outreach, and initiatives such as the DadFrat Fishing Tournament and other family-focused programs.
